How to get involved

Qualifications Wales wants people involved in qualifications, industry, the public sector, schools, further and higher education in Wales to participate in building a qualifications system that is truly fit for the 21st century.

Involvement

We recognise that colleagues across Wales will want to be involved, but have many demands on their time. With this in mind, we have adopted a three- tier system to allow engagement at a level that meets individual circumstances:

The Slate

The Slate is Qualifications Wales’s e-newsletter for centres.

Our aim is to publish the newsletter every two months, with a round-up of news and useful information to keep you up-to-date with our activities.

If you have any suggestions for future content, we’d like to hear from you. Please e-mail with your ideas.

Share your views

From time to time, when we undertake research or gather evidence, we may wish to consult with you on various aspects of the qualifications work that we carry out. We want to listen to your ideas, experiences, concerns and complaints, and the things that matter to you. This may be by web surveys, discussions, events or interviews.

Get involved

For those colleagues who’d like to get more involved with Qualifications Wales, and where there’s a match in skills and experience, there will be opportunities to join advisory boards, steering groups, or a stakeholders’ forum. We also value expert opinion on specific areas of our work to assure the quality of new or existing provision.

If you want to get involved please contact us.
