This allocation of funding is issued to awarding organisations based on proposals received for support in creating resources to support General and Vocational qualifications.

Welsh for Adults:

This grant is issued solely to WJEC to support the Welsh for Adults examinations that are provided across Wales. The funding will support the development of assessments, quality assurance, staffing, resource development and the associated administration costs, operational examination costs and the cost incurred in supporting the National Centre for Learning Welsh.

The purpose of the competitive element of this grant is to support the availability of qualifications both general and vocational through the medium of Welsh.

The purpose of this element of the grant is to support the translation of live assessment papers for reformed General Qualifications for award solely in Wales.
