Our employees are working on a hybrid basis, this means that the contractual base is our office at Imperial Park, Newport, NP10 8AR, but that employees can work flexibly with a balance between home and office.

Office Assistant

This role offers the opportunity to gain an insight into the organisation and gain a wide range of office skills. We are also committed to learning and development and will provide relevant role essential training as well as considering individual development needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an administrative role and could provide development for someone new to the workplace, as well as suiting someone experienced in administrative roles.

Band 1 – Salary range £21,300 - £24,630 per annum

Permanent, full time.

Content Manager

You will be part of a team that shapes and delivers the communications and engagement of Qualifications Wales.

We are currently delivering a dedicated communications and engagement strategy to support ambitious plans to reform qualifications from 2027.

The post holder will play a central role in communicating those reforms to key audiences including learners, carers, educators, awarding bodies and other stakeholders.

The role also supports the Head of Communications and wider communications team on media relations, strategic communications, campaigns and content creation as required.

Band 4 – Salary range £40,100 - £47,470 per annum

Content and Editorial Manager

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Content and Editorial Manager is responsible for the editorial style, tone, voice and quality of our external and internal communications channels.

The post holder proactively leads the delivery and editorial development of high quality bilingual communications including, social media, website and official publications. A key part of the role is copywriting and sub-editing editorial content in both Cymraeg and English to ensure that it is accessible for all of our audiences.

The role also supports the Head of Communciations and wider communications team on media relations, strategic communications, campaigns and content creation as required.

The post holder will also act as the deputy for the Head of Communications and help develop communications and content marketing strategies aligned to departmental objectives.

Band 4 – Salary range £40,100 - £47,470 per annum
