Assessment and curriculum advisors

We are seeking assessment and curriculum experts to advise Qualifications Wales on the new GCSE-level qualifications that will be introduced following reform to the curriculum in Wales.

Assessment and curriculum experts will:

  • help develop a strategic vision and approach to the qualifications taken by learners in Wales at 16
  • consider the implications of the new qualifications on teaching, learning and curriculum design in secondary schools
  • help develop proposals for the new set of GCSE-level qualifications in terms of their purposes, design and assessment principles prior to running a public consultation on these proposals in Autumn 2019.

Successful applicants will undertake specified work from March 2019 to September 2019.

The fee for the above work is £400 per day inclusive of any VAT.
