COVID-19 (Coronavirus): Guidance for schools and colleges
We recognise schools and colleges might have concerns about the possible impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) on the 2020 summer exam series.
We routinely consider whether there are particular risks to the smooth running of exams. In light of this issue, we are discussing whether any additional measures are needed this year with exam boards, fellow UK regulators and Government departments.
We will provide guidance on our website to reflect any specific arrangements that schools and colleges should put in place if required. In the meantime, students should continue to prepare for the summer exams as usual, and schools and colleges should ensure their contingency plans are up to date.
In the meantime, Welsh Government has issued guidance for educational establishments on what to do if any pupil or member of staff is suspected to be suffering symptoms.
