Vocational and Other Qualifications Quarterly: Quarter 1 (January to March) 2024 for Wales
A quarterly release that presents data on vocational and other qualification certifications for Wales for the latest quarter.
Key Points:
- 39,385 certificates were awarded in quarter 1 of 2024. This is a 5.7% increase compared to the same quarter in 2023.
- Between April 2023 and March 2024, 273,870 certificates were awarded, an increase of 10.7% compared to the previous year.
- Compared to Q1 2023, six of the 15 sectors saw an increase in certificates in Q1 2024. The largest increase in the number of certificates was in Preparation for Life and Work.
- Compared to Q1 2023, six of the ten levels saw an increase in certificates in Q1 2024. Level 3 qualifications saw the largest increase in the number of certificates.
